Ash-Tel


It emerged even on the very last word. Like a nest of bloated worms it unfolded its immensity above her and then gazed downwards. There was a vast face, a furious mask of bleached bone. There were many eyes of unequal size, white pools unmarked by iris or pupil. There was a great mane of limbs, fat ropes of flesh that coiled and uncoiled as they gulped for air.
